Hi, I'm Eddie and I'm glad you're here.

As a licensed Clinical Social Worker, I look forward to the

opportunity to share space with you - be it to therapeutically explore dynamics influencing your life or as a consultant to your organization or work.

Since 2008 I have practiced individual, family and group therapies focused

on narrative and existential theoretical frameworks.

I specialize in supporting individuals impacted by trauma or experiencing life crises,

specifically adolescents and those of us who share LGBTQ identities.

My passion for clinical practice accompanies work in equity and inclusion,

specifically in relation to agency and systemic structures.

My experience in implementing social justice frameworks and drive to support

systems seeking to embrace culturally affirmative practice informs all areas of my life.

I seek to hold space for courageous conversations surrounding intersectional identity, community and individual response to historical/current trauma,

and the overarching connection between privilege and power

within societal and interpersonal relationships.

I believe focus on implicit/explicit bias and socialization, informed by narrative and existentialist frameworks, is critical in clinical practice and the unpacking of each knapsack carried in our day to day. In addition to this practice, I am an

Associate Professor of Practice at Portland State Universities School of Social Work.
